The Fire and Ice Ultra is considered to be one of the toughest multi terrain marathons on earth, from river crossings and grassy meadows to ash and sand valleys and volcanic lava fields.
Over 6 days I will be running unassisted in this marathon meaning I will be carrying all my gear on my back, my food, clothing and sleeping bag. This will be my toughest challenge yet as I have never ran in a race of any kind before, training will be hard and last minute due to my work commitments but im mentally prepared and ready to tackle this opportunity of a lifetime.
Like in previous challenges I will be raising money for Crohn's and Colitis UK. The cost of entering this marathon is quite a lot so i have set up a go fund me page, like in the previous challenge half of what i raise will go to charity and the other half will go towards the entry costs. All flights and hotels before and after the marathon will be covered by me so you know that your donations are only going to the essential and necessary places
